My phone is an iBrick - unusable for anything but a call to emergency services.

Tried my iPhone update to software v2.0 this morning. It seemed to be happily updating. Software and settings properly backed up, software got downloaded, installed on iPhone. All looked great.

Until it tried to restore all the settings and data. The iPhone uses iTunes to go get "authorized" from Apple, and it looks like Iand others are swamping the authentication servers.

I'm normally an Apple Fanboy. But when a company goes from being the small-market-share company to running with the big dogs, they've got to be held to a higher standard.

This stinks. Apple should be flamed. FLAME ON.
